THE PROJECT
Rebecca’s graduate thesis from the American Film Institute Conservatory is a noir short film focusing on the downfall of a friendship in a heist gone wrong.
As a producing fellow, Rebecca took on as many challenges as she could during her graduate studies. Washed Up had several stunts, a car scene, police on set, and several locations including three builds. These along with many other logistics to iron out made for a busy pre-production, during which Rebecca made crew safety a priority and prepared with her creative team for the most efficient way of using the 5 days of shooting they had at their disposal. Post-production brought forward the characters’ relationship and gave the creative team an opportunity to re-discover the film together.
